MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - - The UVa-Wise men's golf team finished 13th at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate with a team score of 623. Lincoln Memorial University took home the team trophy with a two-day score of 568; the Railsplitters' Dan Bradburry took home medalist honors with a score of 136.

The Cavaliers were led by freshman Hunter Lunsford who tied for 23rd with a two-day tally of 148. Bryce Varner tied for 54th with a score of 156 while redshirt sophomore Alex Arnold tied for 66th with a score of 160. Hunter Farley finished in a tie for 68th with a score of 161 while senior Jacob Smith rounded out UVa-Wise golfers in the event with a score of 164 to finish 73rd.

Next up, the team will compete in the Mountain East Conference Championship which is to be held in Daniels, W.Va. beginning Oct. 8.
