UVA Wise Student Athlete Advisory Committee
The purpose of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) at UVA Wise is to provide a voice for student-athletes in order to enhance the overall student-athlete experience. Specifically, the responsibilities of the SAAC include:
- Create a line of communication with athletic administration
- Disseminate information to student-athletes
- Gain input from student-athletes regarding UVA Wise, South Atlantic Conference, and NCAA Division II policies and concerns
- Solicit student-athletes responses to proposed legislation
- Sponsor outreach activities for the local and campus communities
