The University of Virginia's College at Wise Athletics

Richard "Dick" Davidson was a distinguished faculty member and longtime Chair of the College's Department of Education, serving for a total of 36 years. During his tenure, he served as baseball coach at the college for several years. He was a past member of the Uva-Wise Foundation Board. He was a member and President of the Highland Cavalier Club Advisory Board. He was an avid and enthusiastic supporter of UVa-Wise Athletics. Dick was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002 for Outstanding Service and Support.
