Brad Robbins transferred to UVa-Wise after a year at Western Carolina and immediately made an impact on the baseball field. As a freshman, the Big Stone Gap, Va. native finished second nationally in batting average at .479 while lining 10 home runs with 37 RBI.

Robbins would finish his career as the most accomplished hitter in program history as he still holds 10 career and nine single-season records at the College.

A three-time all-conference selection, he earned Second-Team All-American acclaim as a designated hitter following his senior season in 2010. That year, he hit .404 with nine home runs and 58 RBI.

A member of back-to-back NAIA Region XII qualifier teams, Robbins also made 36 appearances on the mound where he collected 12 wins in 19 decisions while striking out 129 hitters in 145 1/3 innings pitched.

On the gridiron, the quarterback was a member of the 2007 Mid-South Eastern Division Championship team before passing for 3,037 yards and 22 touchdowns as a senior en route to all-conference honors.
