HUNTSVILLE, AL – The Highland Cavalier men's cross country team competed in the Southern Showcase Friday morning. The team placed 38th in a field composed mainly of NCAA Division I institutions, including several SEC and ACC programs.

Dylan Colander finished with a time of 25:33.7 in the 8k event. Jonah Adams ran for a time of 25:44.9, and Dorian Almer crossed the line with a time of 27:29.7.

Chad Douglas completed the course in 27:34.4 and Patton Shortt ran for 28:03.9.

Caleb Ghammashi finished with a time of 29:32.8, while Owen Grace completed with a time of 31:15.8.

The team will next compete in the South Atlantic Conference Preview Meet on September 27. The event is hosted by Tusculum University and will be held on the site of the SAC Championship meet at Kinser Park just south of Greeneville, Tennessee.
