ROCK HILL, SC – The South Atlantic Conference has announced the All-Conference and All-Freshman teams for the 2024-25 season, and three Highland Cavaliers are represented.
Bradley Dean was named to the First Team,
Evan Ramsey was named Second Team, and
Anderson Cummins earned a spot on the All-Freshman Team
Dean leads the team in scoring (17.2 per game), assists (5.0 per game), and steals (1.6 per game) this season and ranks ninth in the SAC in points, field goals and points per game, fourth in assists, and third in free throw percentage. Dean ends the regular season with 1,673 career points (1,500 at UVA Wise), which ranks him at eighth in school history. He has had several outstanding plays this season, but one of the most infamous is his three pointer on Feb. 26 at Tusculum that sent the game to overtime.
Evan Ramsey was named to the All-SAC Second Team. The redshirt freshman leads the team in rebounding (10.0 per game) and field goal percentage (64.6%), and in the SAC he ranks first in field goal percentage and rebounds per game as well as second in total rebounds.
Cummins is averaging 8.2 points and 2.6 rebounds a game this season.
The team is seeded fourth in the upcoming SAC Tournament and will face Carson-Newman Wednesday at Noon in Rock Hill, South Carolina at the Rock Hill Sports & Events Center.
