WISE — UVA Wise sophomore guard Bradley Dean was named honorable mention All-American, the D2CCA announced today.

The six players who received All-American Honorable Mention distinction include Brandon Knapper (Cal State San Bernardino), John Paul Kromka (Pitt-Johnstown), Taylor Currie (Harding), Bradley Dean (UVA Wise), Shawndale Jones (IUP), Robert Osborne (Virginia Union).

Dean is the first men's basketball All-American since the institution's move to Division II. Dean is also the first player to earn the honor since Zack Moore earned the NAIA All-American mark in 2003.

Dean aided UVA Wise in a 19-12 overall record finish in the 2022-23 season, and was first winning season for the Cavaliers since 2010.
