Abby Bradley's final round score of 72 and third-place finish highlighted the UVA Wise team's performance in the Golden Mane Classic Monday and Tuesday. The team opened the 2025-26 season in the event.
As a team, the Cavs compiled a 329-328-329 for a total of 986 in the par 71 event.
Bradley led the team with her totals of 78-75-72 for a score of 225, tying her for third. Her third one over par score of 72 marked the best round in program history.
Emma Zelaski was next for the Cavs with her 81-84-82 total of 247.
Julia Kessler was three strokes behind with a 250 (81-85-84).
Lilli Kate Barker rounded out play for UVA Wise with her total of 264 (89-84-91).
The team will next compete in the King Invitational, which will be held at the Golf Club of Bristol on September 22-23.
