ROCK HILL, SC – Three UVA Wise lacrosse players have earned All-South Atlantic Conference honors for the 2025 season, the conference office announced today. Taryn Moreno was named to the First Team, Logen Davis earned Second Team honors, and Paige Rodgers was named to the Third Team.

The team is voted on by the conference coaches.

Taryn Moreno was named a First Team Defender after earning Second Team honors last year. The junior caused 39 turnovers and picked up 50 ground balls this season. Her 39 caused turnovers led the team and were fourth in the SAC. They are also the third-most in a season in program history. She currently ranks seventh all-time at UVA Wise in that category. The 50 ground balls also led the team and were third in the SAC. She ranks ninth all-time in school history in total ground balls and her 50 this season tie for fifth-most in a season.

Logen Davis earned Second Team Attacker honors as the junior led the team in goals (33), assists (30), points (63), and shots (69) as well as picking up 14 ground balls. Davis ranks fourth in the SAC in assists, ninth in points, and twenty-first in goals. She ranks third in program history in career assists and eighth in points. She had six hat tricks in goals and four in assists this season. Davis was named the SAC Player of the Week for the week of April 8. This is her first All-SAC honor.

Paige Rodgers was named to the Third Team as a Defender and earns All-SAC honors for the first time in her career. The sophomore caused 23 turnovers and picked up 28 ground balls this season. She had a career-high six ground balls and six caused turnovers at Lenoir-Rhyne on March 19.

The team recently finished their 2025 season with a loss in the SAC Tournament Quarterfinals and finished with a 9-9 overall record and a 6-5 conference record. This marked the ninth time in eleven seasons that they have made a conference tournament and their eighth non-losing season. They will return to action next February.
