BRISTOL, TN – The UVA Wise Cavaliers delivered a dominant performance at the King University Invitational on Friday, March 28, setting multiple school records and securing top finishes across a variety of events.
Headlining the meet was
Caleb Yeary, who blazed to a time of 10.34 seconds (4.6) in the 100m, marking an NCAA Outdoor provisional qualifying performance. Yeary also claimed second place in the 200m, clocking 21.90 (2.7) to cap off an impressive day on the track.
The Cavaliers made history with several school records:

The Cavaliers also dominated in the top-five finishes, highlighted by
Francis Roberts, who took first place in the 400m with his record-setting 49.79.
The women's 4x100m relay team also brought home a victory, crossing the line in 49.70.

The Cavaliers now set their sights on the Asheville Bulldog Invitational at UNC Asheville on Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12. With momentum from their record-breaking performances, UVA Wise looks to continue making strides on the track and in the field.
