ANDERSON, SC – The UVA Wise lacrosse team saw Anderson take a three goal lead and were unable to make a full comeback before time expired as the Highland Cavs fell 15-11 to Anderson Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Anderson scored three goals before
Kaylea Paterson scored with 6:57 left in the first.
Caitlyn Schultz would also score in the first quarter, but the Trojans would add two goals and lead 5-2.

Issie Brown scored the Cavs' lone goal in the second quarter and AU would lead 8-3 at the half.
- The Cavs fought back in the third period, scoring four goals. The Trojans would answer back with three goals of their own and lead 11-7 heading into the fourth quarter.
- Once again the Cavs would score four goals in the fourth period, but the Trojans would also score and UVA Wise could make up no ground and fell 15-11.
GETTING WISE

Caitlyn Schultz had her seventh career game with three or more goals as she had a hat trick.

Kaylea Paterson and
Abby Stoffelen had two goals apiece, while
Leslie Clay,
Grace Golatt,
Issie Brown, and
Noley Hiller had a goal apiece.
