NEW ORLEANS – The UVA Wise women's track team was named an NCAA Division II All-Academic Team by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association earlier this week.

To be named to the team a program must have a combined cumulative grade point average of all athletes on the NCAA Squad List of 3.0 or greater.

The team recently completed their inaugural season of indoor and outdoor competition so this is their first time earning All-Academic Team honors.
