UVA Wise baseball is ready to being its 2024 season at the freshly renovated Stallard Field. The Cavs will open the year with a four-game series against Shepherd University, set to be played on the brand new turf. The turf will provide a more true playing surface, an aesthetically pleasing look and more field time and availability for the program. 

The four games against Shepherd will played over two days, with each day hosting two 7-inning double header games. UVA Wise opens the South Atlantic Conference portion of the season on the road against Mars Hill on Friday, Feb. 23. The Cavs will host their first SAC game of the year when Carson-Newman comes to town on Friday, Mar. 8.
