WISE - - UVA Wise announced its annual Athletic Hall of Fame Class Wednesday. The group of four includes former all-region volleyball star Natasha Viers, basketball All-American and all-league golfer Chelsea Cluesman, softball record holder Lauren Snead and former football running back standout Greg Tester.

The group of four will be inducted in a public induction ceremony on Saturday, October 7 at 9 a.m. held inside the David J. Prior Convocation Center prior to UVA Wise's Homecoming Football Game with Emory & Henry College.

Viers, an Abingdon, Va. native, finished her career as the single-season school record holder for points (91.5), points per set (5.98), kills (733), kills per set (4.79) and attack attempts (1,619). A three-time all-region performer, Viers also earned all-conference acclaim three times while being a three-time all-conference academic selection. In 2007, Viers aided the volleyball program to the regional championship and a national tournament appearance as she finished her career with a .314 hitting percentage.

Cluesman finished her collegiate career as one of the better two-sport athletes in school history. An All-America selection on the basketball floor, Cluesman was also consistently the best golfer on campus during her time as a Cavalier. Also an Academic All-American, Cluesman finished her career with 1,410 points to rank 10th in school history. The Jonesville, Va. native had her best season in her final season when she tallied 500 points and grabbed 249 rebounds in 29 games en route to All-America status.

When Snead's pitching career ended, the right-hander had won more games than any pitcher in school history at the time (60) while also having tossed a then-school-best 73 complete games with 15 shutouts. A two-time all-league selection, the Troutville, Va. native fanned a then single-season school record 234 hitters in 2009 as UVA Wise advanced to the NAIA World Series. Snead finished her career with 732 strikeouts across 666 innings, earning 60 pitching victories.

Tester ranks fourth in school history with 2,641 rushing yards while also ranking fourth in rushing touchdowns with 27. Overall, the Hurley, Va. product tallied 3,916 all-purpose yards during his career where he accumulated 31 total touchdowns and averaged 4.05 receptions per contest. Tester's family has continued the tradition of Highland Cavalier Football as his son Tyson is in his second season with the program this fall.
