Ticket Information
Football tickets are $15 each and are General Admission only. They are available through Hometown Ticketing or via the link on UVAWiseCavs.com. All ticket sales are ONLINE ONLY.

Parking and Traffic
• Public parking can be found in the upper lots above the stadium to the North. The lower lot below the Prior Center is for team buses, gameday staff and media only.
• The middle lot (first one on the left above the Prior Center) is the Highland Cavalier Fan Zone and some portions of it are set aside for tailgating and are an ABC Designated Talgating Area. Portions of this lot may be available for parking depending on the number of tailgaters.
• The upper lots up the hill from the Prior Center are all available for parking on game days.
• The parking lot behind the Ramseyer Press Box and going towards campus is the Valley Fan Zone lot and is reserved for donors and the Valley Tailgating Area..
• For the majority of events, Campus Police will direct you to the proper lot, and available lots are shown in the following graphic. Parking costs are included in the price of a ticket for the event.

All items are subject to the judgment of gameday staff and may be removed from the stadium if they present a threat to others safety or inhibit others from enjoying the event.

Bag Policy
Clear bags are not required but are encouraged at Carl Smith Stadium. All bags are subject to search prior to entry by gameday or security staff. Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages for personal consumption are NOT permitted.

Pets
Pets are not allowed at the stadium. Service animals are permitted at the discretion of gameday staff and must adhere to service animal guidelines.

Early Screening/Policies
The stadium is a ticketed venue for all football games. Seating is available for free on a first-come, first-served basis in the bleacher seats with ADA locations located at the bottom and top of the stands. A companion seat chair can be made available upon request with advance notice. Clear bags are not required for entry but are encouraged for a quicker ingress experience.

Accessible Seating
ADA seating is located at both the top and bottom of the stands in enclosed areas on a first-come, first-served basis. A companion seat is available upon request with advance notice.

Accessible Entrances
ADA access to the stadium complex is via the main entrance. An usher can then direct you to your desired ADA seating area, if it is available..

Wheelchairs and Assistive Devices
Wheelchairs and other assistive devices are not available at the stadium complex..

Accessible Concessions Window
The concession stand at the fieldhouse is ADA accessible for small chairs. Food trucks are all ADA accessible.

Accessible Restrooms for Guests with Disabilities
All restroom upstairs and downstairs have accessible facilities.

Emergency or Severe Weather Evacuation Procedures
In the event of lightning or other severe weather, the stadium complex will be evacuated.. Announcements will be made over the PA system if there is any threat to fan safety. The nearest safe building is the David J. Prior Convocation Center.

ADA Service Animal Fraud
Service animals are allowed within the venue at the discretion of gameday staff members. All service animals must be both required and trained to perform a specific function related to a diagnosed disability. All service animals must walk on their own and cannot be carried around the venue.

ADA Parking
Accessibility parking for the stadium complex on game days is located in the first upper lot . Ramp access is available from this lot to the main enteance on Stadium Drive. You may pull over in front of the Prior Center on Stadium Drive in order to load and unload any disabled passengers.

Admission policy (ticket required, when do gates open, how old for a ticketed fan)
All UVA Wise football games require a ticket for entry. Gates open one hour prior to the start of the game. Seating is general admission in the bleacher seats and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The chair-backed seats are for donors only.

Alcohol policy
Alcohol is allowed in ABC approved areas.

Banners and Signs
Large banners and signs larger than 8.5x11 inches are allowed after approval by Game Management staff.

Camera Policy
Video cameras, audio equipment and cameras with professional lenses greater than 55mm are prohibited. Video recording may occur during pregame but is prohibited while the game is in play.

Concessions
Concessions are available at the stand near the fieldhouse. There are also food trucks located near the fieldhouse and the visitor seating area.

Code of Conduct
UVA Wise, the South Atlantic Conference and NCAA encourage and promote good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or ethnic comments, or other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the complex. Carl Smith Stadium is a tobacco & Vape free facility.

First Aid/Emergency Medical Services
There are no first aid stations in the Smith Stadium complex. EMS is on-site during the game if there is a medical emergency. There is an urgent care center nearby in Norton near the hospital.

Food and Beverage
NO outside food and beverages are permitted in the stadium itself. Additionally, general concessions will be available.

Highland Cavalier Club
The Highland Cavalier Club is organized to aid and support the athletic programs of The University of Virginia’s College at Wise and with the guidance of the Office of Advancement, solicit and obtain funds for the furtherance of those programs. The Club shall expand its purpose as the Directors may deem necessary with the approval of The University of Virginia’s College at Wise Foundation, Inc. Media
All members of the media must check in with the Sports Information Director upon arrival. All media requests should be directed to Bill Porter (bporter@uvawise.edu). Designated shooting spots for football are along the sideline and the back of the endzone. Parking for media is in the lower faculty-staff lot directly adjacent to the Prior Center. Media who do not need field access or need accomodation may park in the designated area behind the pressbox. An attendant will direct you to the lot.

Merchandise
Merchandise is available for purchase at the UVA Wise Bookstore's mini-shop, which is located to the west side of the breezeway at the top of the home stands, underneath the press box...

Programs/Rosters
UVA Wise does not print physical programs. QR codes for digital roster sheets will be posted around the stadium. A link to the program will also be available on the football schedule page at www.UVAWiseCavs.com.

Public Transit/Taxi/Ride Share
There are no designated bus stops located near the Carl Smith Stadium complex. Taxi and ride share services should drop off and pick up in front of the facility's main entrance on Stadium Drive.

Re-Entry
Re-entry is allowed as long as you have your ticket pulled up on your phone/tablet/printout to show the gate.

Restrooms
Located near at the top of the home stands or in the fieldhouse complex.

Sensory Accommodations
At this time there are no sensory accommodations available. It is recommended that guests seeking a quieter gameday experience sit near the west end or on the visiting side, as far away as possible from the Marching Highland Cavalier band.

Smoking Policy
The University of Virginia's College at Wise is a smoke-free campus and thus smoking is prohibited within 100 feet of all campus venues and facilities, this includes E-cigarettes or other forms of electronic smoking.

Student Seating
The student seating is located in the west end of the seating area next to the Marching Highland Cavalier seating area.

Tailgating
Tailgating is allowed outside of the Carl Smith Stadium complex in the designated areas, per UVA Wise policies. For more information on those policies click here. Open flames and alcohol are not allowed.

Umbrellas
Umbrellas are not permitted inside the stadium seating area but my be carried in as long as they are closed and stored under your seat. Ponchos are preferred for safety reasons and as to not block the view of those behind you.

Video Camera Policy
Video cameras are permitted to be used only during pregame, not during game action. Consideration for other spectators is expected.
