EAGLES BLANK CAVALIERS IN SAC PLAY

WISE — The Eagles were able to take a 7-0 win over the Cavaliers on Monday afternoon at the Jim & Betty Humphreys Tennis Complex.

Three of the six singles matchups were forced to a third set, but it would be the Eagles (10-7, 8-2 SAC) to complete the full sweep.

Notably, Pierre Djaroueh kept opponent Gjorgji Jankulovski on his toes for three sets but eventually fell by scores of 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.

Up next, UVA Wise jumps right back into action against Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday, April 12 at 4 PM.
