GILBERT, AZ – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association recently announced their 2026 Division II Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Teams. Both the UVA Wise men's and women's teams were named All-Academic Teams, and several members were named ITA Scholar Athletes.
This is the second straight season making the teams for both the men's and women's programs.
To be named a Scholar-Athlete a student must have a 3.5 and be listed on the institutional eligibility form. Similar rules apply to be named an All-Academic Team, with the team GPA being a minimum of a 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
In 2026, 548 Division II Men's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and 70 men's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction. On the women's side, 649 Division II women's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and 95 women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
