SPARTANBURG, S.C. - - Host Converse took the team title with a two-day score of 605 at the Converse Women's Golf Spring Invitational this week. Robin Dotson's UVA Wise squad finished 12th with a two-day tally of 781.

Olivia Baker was the highest-finishing Cavalier in the event as she shot a 189 over the 36 holes to place 58th. Savannah Burdsall tied for 59th with a score of 192, Julie Kessler shot a 202 to come in 64th, Sarah Arnold's 203 put her in 203rd and Abby Peterson shot a 214 to place 66th.

The team will be back in action next weekend at the Alice Lloyd Invitational.
