UVA WISE NOTES
- UVA Wise (2-2) hit two heartbreaker snags in their last two contests - Lee University's Brittney White shot in a goal in the last two minutes of OT to secure a 12-11 triumph on Sunday, Feb. 19 and Montevallo's Anja Kuys swiped in a goal in the last 20 seconds of regulation to take the 9-8 win over the Cavs.
- Freshman Logan Davis leads the Cavs with eight goals on the year with an .846 shots on goal percentage, while freshman teammate Caitlyn Schultz trails right behind with seven goals of her own on the season.
- In goal, junior Olivia Toomer has tallied 37 saves in four games played. Her save percentage, 51.4-percent, ranks third in the conference.
- Defensively, Schultz and senior Kameryn Darrington sit with six caused turnovers each. Darrington also adds a team-high 12 groundballs in their first four matchups.
LINCOLN MEMORIAL NOTES
- Lincoln Memorial (2-3) took three back-to-back losses in the month of February, including two losses against two nationally-ranked squads (#7 Tampa and #17 Flagler).
- In their last contest, the 'Splitters went on a 5-0 run in the third quarter to tie the score against Florida Tech before holding the Panthers scoreless in the fourth to snag the 17-16 win.
- Attackers Kelly Csenar and Ali Van Der Ziel combined for nine goals while goalie Keegan Gillman swiped eight saves in the victory
- In the conference, Van Der Ziel ranks second in points (27) while ranking fourth in total shots (29)
