OCEAN ISLE BEACH, N.C. - -  Olivia Baker's tenth-place showing propelled UVA Wise to a sixth place showing at the Pfeiffer Spring Invitational this week. Adrian College took home the team title with a score of 664 with the Cavaliers shooting 718 over the two-day tournament.

Baker shaved three strokes off her day one tally of 86 to finish with a 169 to pace UVA Wise golfers in the field. Abby Peterson tied for 33rd with a 180 after shooting an 88 in round two with Sarah Arnold's 184 placing her in a tie for 39th. Savannah Burdsall shot 185 to come in 42 and Julia Kessler rounded out Cavs in the field with a two-day tally of 198 to place 55th.

Next up is the Converse Spring Invite held in Spartanburg, S.C. from March 12 – 14.
