Storylines – vs. Queens (N.C.)
Head Coach Bart Lundy's Royals visit Wise with an 8-3 overall record and a 3-2 mark in the South Atlantic Conference and are currently 3-1 on the road so far this season. Queens (N.C.) closed out 2019 with three SAC matchups in December, picking up a two-point victory over Coker University while dropping a home contest to Tusculum University and a road test at nationally ranked Lincoln Memorial University. Coach Lundy's team was selected to finish first in the league with eight first-place votes in the preseason coaches' poll. Senior Daniel Carr and redshirt senior Van Turner, Jr. both earned preseason honors with Carr named first team all-conference while Turner picked up a second team all-conference selection. The Royals are averaging 82.7 points per game so far this season while opponents are averaging just under 80 points per contest. From the field Queens is shooting 45 percent and 36.1 percent from behind the arc. Three Royals are averaging double-figures so far this campaign led by preseason first-team selection Daniel Carr who is recordingn 16.1 points per game. Carr also leads his team in assists, registering 4.2 per game. Freshman Gavin Rains is posting a team-high 6.8 boards per game while the team is collecting 37.2 rebounds per contest. Coach Lundy's squad will return home to face Newberry College Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.

Okenchi sits atop the rebounding category for the Cavs, grabbing 6.1 boards per game while the team is averaging 38.2 rebounds per contest at a +1.3 margin over opponents. Head coach Blake Mellinger's team will face another tough conference matchup following Saturday's contest as the Cavs visit nationally-ranked Lincoln Memorial University Wednesday night with tip slated for 7:30 p.m.
