ATHENS, W. Va. - - Women's tennis pushed their win streak to four as the Cavs earned a 7-0 sweep over the Concord Mountain Lions Saturday afternoon on the road.

The Cavaliers (6-12, 4-4 MEC) swept doubles with a pair of wins by freshmen Liza Akimenko and Grace Hall at the number one spot, 6-2, and freshmen Olivia Dishner and Lillian Morris at the No.2 position, 6-1. Concord (0-12, 0-8 MEC) gave the Cavs' Aya Melhem and Montana Hill a default win at No. 3 to sweep doubles.

In singles, Liza Akimenko lost just one game as she topped the Mountain Lions' Brooke King at number one, 6-0, 6-1. Freshman Katya Akimenko, Melhem, and Hill each posted a 6-0, 6-0 sweep over their opponents at the No. 2, No.3, and No. 4 spot, respectively.  Dishner and Hall earned two more default wins for the Cavs at the number five and six positions, respectively, as UVa-Wise closed out the season with a dominating win over the Mountain Lions.
