Shepherd Visits Smith Stadium for First Time Since MEC Tournament Finals

WISE - - UVa-Wise will look to begin Mountain East Conference play 3-0 when Shepherd University visits Smith Stadium Sunday. A rematch of last year's MEC Tournament Finals, the two schools have combined to win three league tournament crowns and two regular season championships since the formation of the league in 2015.

The Cavaliers have won 10 consecutive games against Mountain East Conference competition. The stretch includes a pair of wins against the Rams; however, Shepherd was the last league school to defeat UVa-Wise when it knocked off Meghan Dennehy's squad in the 2017 conference tournament.
