WISE, Va. – Friday's scheduled softball games at the 2017 NCAA Division II Softball Championship Atlantic 1 Regional have been postponed until tomorrow due to forecasted weather and heavy rain in Wise, Virginia. All three of Friday's Atlantic Regional games will now be played on Saturday, May 13, with the championship scheduled for Sunday, May 14.
 
With the strong chance of continual rain and Thunderstorms throughout the day and evening Friday, tournament directors and the NCAA on-site representative made the decision to postpone games this afternoon after working with local meteorologists. A complete updated schedule for the remainder of the Atlantic Regional can be found below.
 
Saturday, May 13
Game 3: No. 5 Shepherd University (visitors) vs. No. 1 West Chester University (home) – 1 p.m.
Game 4: No. 8 Chowan University (visitors) vs. No. 4 UVa-Wise (home) – 3:30 p.m.
Game 5: Game 3 Loser vs. Game 4 Winner – 6 p.m.
 
Sunday, May 14
Game 6: Game 3 Winner vs. Game 5 Winner – 11 a.m.
Game 7: (If Necessary) Game 3 Winner vs. Game 5 Winner – 30 minutes following conclusion of Game 6
