WISE - - Seeds and game times for the 2016 Mountain East Conference Women's Lacrosse Tournament were released by the league office Sunday. Coach Meghan Dennehy's UVa-Wise Cavaliers will be the No. 3 seed and will face No. 2 seed Shepherd University at 4 p.m. Friday in Wheeling, W.Va.

Top-seeded Wheeling Jesuit won the regular season and will serve as tournament hosts. The Cardinals went undefeated in league play (6-0) and will entertain No. 4 seed West Virginia Wesleyan at 7 p.m.

The Cavs enter the tournament 11-4 overall and 4-2 in MEC play. Friday's game against Shepherd will mark the second consecutive meeting between the two schools as the Rams won the regular season finale 19-9 to claim the No. 2 seed.

Winners of Friday's semifinals will meet for the conference championship Sunday at 1 p.m.
