WISE, Va. – Wintry weather in the area Friday, mixed with the rain received throughout the week has caused a slight schedule change for UVa-Wise softball Saturday at the Pioneer Classic hosted by Tusculum College in Greenville, Tennessee.
 
The Cavaliers (2-0) were originally scheduled to play Ursuline College Saturday at 9 a.m. but will now take on the Arrows at 1 p.m. UVa-Wise will still play Goldey-Beacom College Saturday at 11 a.m., which was the originally scheduled time.
 
UVa-Wise softball's Friday slate will remain unchanged with the Cavs playing a single game against Kutztown University at 4 p.m. in Greenville, Tennessee. Additionally, Sunday's home doubleheader against Limestone College will still take place on Cavalier Field staring at 1 p.m.
