WISE - - Playing back-to-back days did not seem to bother coach Danny Rowland's women's tennis team on Saturday as UVa-Wise cruised to a 9-0 non-conference win over Berea College. The Cavaliers did not lose a set in Saturday's match as Daria Tyschenko, Haley Thacker, and Marti Gay all claimed their first individual wins of the year.
UVa-Wise (2-2) will return to action Sunday at 3 pm when perennial power and Mountain East Conference favorite West Virginia State visits Wise. You can find a complete listing of Saturday's match results below:
