WISE - - Senior third baseman Michael McCollum was named First-Team All-MEC by the Mountain East Conference on Wednesday. A Richmond, Virginia native, McCollum hit a team-high .401 with 55 hits and 20 RBIs. 

McCollum registered at least one hit in 18 of his final 20 collegiate contests with 10 multi-hit games in the stretch. His .401 batting average ranked third in the MEC while his 59 hits rank fourth in the league.

For his career, McCollum hit .328 with 15 doubles and 28 homers in his two seasons as a Cavalier.
