CHARLESTON, W.Va. - - Charleston avenged a 3-1 loss to UVa-Wise earlier this month with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-20, 25-21) win over the Cavaliers Friday evening.  The victorious Golden Eagles had three players finish with double digit digs, led by Payton Logan's 17.

Karley Allen led UVa-Wise (12-13, 5-8 MEC) with nine kills and 15 digs while teammate Veronica Sanchez had a team-high 16 assists.

Charleston's (7-17, 6-8 MEC) Melissa Reyes led all players with 22 assists and Randi Estrada added a match-high 11 kills in the victory. 

The Cavaliers will return to play Saturday at 1 when the team visits West Virginia State University for another Mountain East Conference contest.
