WISE - - The UVa-Wise women's tennis team ended a two-match losing streak by claiming an 8-1 win over visiting Bluefield College on Monday. The Cavaliers (2-2) swept all three doubles matches before winning five of six singles matches to secure the win.

Bailey Christoforatos, and
Mary Jo Stallard all posted straight set victories for UVa-Wise while
Rose Bennett won her match by default. The lone Bluefield (0-1) win came in number five singles as Rebecca Havens outlasted
Junetta Nuckels 4-6, 6-1, 10-3.
