INSTITUTE, W.Va. - - Host West Virginia State University claimed its third conference title in four seasons and capped off an undefeated regular season with a 9-0 win over visiting UVa-Wise on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets (9-0, 7-0 MEC) did not lose a set in the match as the Cavaliers (6-5, 3-3 MEC) came no closer than 6-1 in any singles set and no closer than 8-2 in any doubles match.
The Cavs will complete the fall regular season portion of its schedule on Sunday when the team visits West Virginia Wesleyan College. First serve is set for 11 am, full results of today's match can be found below:
