Women's Golf Struggles at King University Women's Invite

Bristol, TN. – The UVa-Wise women's golf team finished eighth in the eight team field at the King University Women's Invite with a two-day team total of 804. Limestone College Saints took the tournament leading both days of the tournament and beating second place Mount Olive College by 14 strokes with a team total of 628.

Mackenzie Cluesman led the Cavaliers shooting a two-day 176 leaving her tied for 30^th. She improved her day one score by two strokes shooting an 87 on day two. Chelsea Cluesman finished tied for 36^th with a 186 total. Jamie Green finished 41^st with a 209 total score and Taylor Yeary rounded out the group respectively with a 233 total score.
The Cavs will return to action on October 12, 2013 for the Mountain East Conference Tournament. The location is yet to be announced.
