JEFFERSON CITY, TN -- The UVA Wise women's tennis team had a good Spring Break as they picked up a pair of wins over local rivals Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday they defeated King 4-3 at home before making the trip to defeat Carson-Newman for the first time ever in a key South Atlantic Conference match.

The team will now have a week off before hosting SAC matches against Mars Hill next Wednesday and Catawba next Friday.
