WISE -- With another Winter storm heading towards the area this weekend, there have been several changes to UVA Wise athletic schedules as a result.

The women's and men's basketball doubleheader against Newberry has been pushed up a day to Friday with new start times of 4 p.m. for the women and 6 p.m. for the men. Links to live stats and the game broadcasts are on the UVA Wise Athletics website.

The baseball season opening weekend against Bluefield State has been postponed. Makeup dates and times will be announced when officially confirmed.

Indoor Track & Field's competition at the Bast Cregger Multi-Invitational in Salem is still on as scheduled.

The newly-founded UVA Wise Shivering From Not Dressing Warmly Enough and Ice Sliding teams (both founded last week) will have a full slate in the coming days.
