BRISTOL, TN -- The UVA Wise men's golf team placed seventh at the King University Invitational with a team score of 586 over two rounds at the Country Club of Bristol.
Piyachote Naphapayarksiri led the Cavaliers with a seventh-place individual finish, carding a 136 (-4) overall. Naphapayarksiri's consistent play marked the standout performance for the Cavaliers, setting the pace with rounds of 69 and 67.
Reilly Yoder and
Jacob Leonard both tied for 39th place, each carding a final score of 150, with Yoder producing consistent rounds of 75 and Leonard experiencing a drop-off in the second round with a 78.
Evan Loftis ended his rounds tied for 46th, shooting 151 overall.
Trenton McMillen rounded out the Highland Cavaliers' lineup, finishing tied for 54th with a total score of 156.
