-UVA Wise plated at least one run in each inning of the seven-inning victory.
-Six Cavs had at least two hits in the victory, as the offense was led by Josh Morgan's 3-5 game with three RBI's.

-In his final start at Stallard Field, Justin Snider earned his fifth win of the season, allowing just four runs on five hits.

GAME THREE (UVA Wise 5, Mars Hill 4):

-Mars Hill answered in the second inning, taking the lead on a Carter Potts three-run homerun to left field, giving the visitors a 3-2 lead after two innings, Mars Hill added an insurance run in the sixth inning to take the lead 4-2, setting the stage for the most dramatic win of the season for UVA Wise.
-In the bottom of the seventh a walk to Jake Smith, a hit-by-pitch of Morgan Miller, and a walk to Jeb Hurst loaded the bases for the Cavaliers with no outs. An errant pitch over the head of Nick Badgett made contact with his bat, landing in fair territory, and leading to a Mars Hill 1-2-3 double play. With the Cavs then down to their final out and the tying run on second base, DJ Dickson hit a high fly ball to shallow left field, which was lost in the lights tying the game at four. On the next pitch Jacob Boyle doubled to left field giving UVA Wise a walk-off series win.
