SALISBURY, NC -- The UVA Wise tennis teams travelled to Catawba for their South Atlantic Conference opener against Catawba Thursday morning. The men fell to the 21st ranked Catawba Indians 5-0 and the women fell to #24 Catawba 4-0.

The men's match was a 5-0 score because two of the flights ended simultaneously.

The men's team will play at King on Sunday. There will be no women's match vs. King as the Tornado have cancelled their women's tennis season due to a lack of players.

Both teams will play at Limestone on March 5, with the women playing at 11 a.m. and the men following at 1:30 p.m.
