ANDERSON SETS CAREER SAVES MARK; REED HOMERS TWICE IN SERIES WITH WASPS

WISE – UVA Wise Senior closer Hunter Anderson picked up his school record fourteenth career save on Saturday in game two of the series with South Atlantic Conference foe, Emory and Henry College, breaking the previous record by David Jones that had stood for over fifteen years. Cavalier Senior Justin Reed led the weekend offensive attack, as he homered twice and drove in seven runs.

Emory and Henry came from behind in games one and three of the series behind superb pitching performances, keeping the Cavalier bats quiet throughout much of the weekend, to take the series victory.
