WISE – There is only one game on tap for the UVA Wise men's basketball team this week, and it's a South Atlantic Conference matchup against Carson-Newman Wednesday evening on the Quillen Court.

The Eagles are currently receiving votes in both polls. They enter the game with an 8-2 overall and 4-1 South Atlantic Conference record.

GETTING WISE
- UVA Wise is 3-4 overall and 1-3 in SAC play following losses to Catawba and Lenoir-Rhyne last week.
- Bradley Dean is leading the team in scoring (16.6 points/game) and assists (5.71 apg). He is third in the SAC in free throws (35-39) and third in assists,
- Lav Cvetkovic' is averaging 13.9 points a game and leads the team in three pointers.
- Evan Ramsey leads the team in rebounds (8.3 rebounds/game) and is fourth in scoring with 11.1 ppg. He is second in the SAC in rebounds per game, third in total rebounds, and his 15 blocks are second in the conference.
- As a team the Cavs are shooting 44.8 percent while holding the opposition to 43.0 percent.

- The Eagles are the best shooting team in the conference statistics-wise as they are leading the conference with their 54.1 percentage. They are also the top three-point shooting team, having hit 113 and shooting 43.0 percent from behind the arc.
- Jack Browder is currently leading the SAC in total points (192) and rebounding (8.4 rpg) and is second in scoring (19.2 ppg). He also leads the team in steals.
- Nick Brenegan is a prolific scorer as well as he is ranked fifth in the SAC with his 17.5 ppg average. He is second in the SAC in total points, behind Browder.
- Trey Hubbard is among the SAC leaders in both field goal percentage (69.0) and three-point percentage (55.0).
