OAK RIDGE. TN – The UVA Wise golf teams ended the fall portion of the 2024-25 campaign as the women finished third and the men placed fifth in the Atomic City Classic.

Emma Zelaski led the women as she hit for 162 (82-80) to tie for seventh overall. Olivia Baker's 81-83=164 secured a ninth-place finish. Lilli Kate Barker was two strokes behind at 166 (87-79) and tied for eleventh, while Julia Kessler hit 87 in both rounds to finish with 174 strokes and tie for 20^th place.

Overall, the women shot for 337 in the first round and 329 in the second round for a total of 666. The second round score of 329 is their best round thus far this season.

On the men's side, Tzu-Wei Huang (75-74) and Reilly Yoder (76-73) both shot 149 to tie for 19^th place. Piyachote Naphapayarksiri was three strokes behind at 152 (75-77) and tied for 26^th. Jack England was 41^st with his 75-81=156, while Evan Loftis tied for 52^nd with his 162 strokes (82-80) for the tournament.

As a team, the Highland Cavalier men shot 300 and 304 for a total of 604 and fifth place in the eleven team event.
