WISE - - Visiting Lenoir-Rhyne scored men's and women's tennis victories at UVA Wise in the South Atlantic Conference opener for both schools held at Humphrey's Tennis Complex Saturday.

The loss was the first of the season for the men's team at  UVA Wise (7-1, 0-1 SAC) while the women's team (6-3, 0-1 SAC) also lost its spring opener.

LR swept both matches 7-0 but, Dominik Thuri-Nagy and Gustavo Marangoni pushed the Bears to three sets in each of their singles matches on the men's side.

Meanwhile, Constanca Azinhaga took Evgenyia Pugina three sets on the women's side.
