TIP-OFF TIDBITS- ANDERSON

- Jimmie Williams' Anderson squad come into the Wise matchup after a dominating 97-66 win over the Piedmont-foe Wingate Bulldogs on Wednesday, Jan. 25. The victory featured a career-high 40-point performance from forward Jalen Hillery, and an Anderson defense that held the Bulldogs to only 24-percent from three-point range.

- Anderson has acquired only three conference wins — two of which they've snagged in the month of January, and both over a 15-point margin.

- The Trojans struggle in the turnover category — Anderson ranks last in the SAC with most turnovers per game with 15.3

- Offensively, the Trojans sit in the middle of the conference pack with a field goal percentage of 45.8

Jalen Hillery:
After an explosive game against Wingate on Jan. 24, Hillery sits in the top spot in three-point field goal percentage in the SAC with a 56.8

Myles Jenkins: fifth in the conference with 15.7 points per game and third in the conference with 8.4 rebounds per game

Mack Burgett: shoots a solid 61.5-percent from the field, earning him fifth in the conference
 

UVA WISE NEWS & NOTES
- The Cavaliers are hot off a three-game winning streak after shutting down the Carson-Newman Eagles for the first time in program history. In the 78-65 triumph, Bradley Dean led the night with 28 points — including 11 field goals and three three-point buckets. Bryson and Fruster each put up 13 points while Patrick Shelley put up a team-high seven rebounds and added 10 points of his own in the victory.

- UVA Wise only suffered six turnovers, their lowest amount of turnovers since Nov. 15 against Pfeiffer.

- As of Jan. 24, the Cavaliers now sit in the top spot in the conference in three-point field goal percentage with a 40.8-percent.
