UVA WISE NEWS & NOTES
- The Cavaliers head back to their home ground after the program's most successful weeks in their South Atlantic Conference tenure — UVA Wise has now won back-to-back conference contests by at least 20 points, taking dubs from Southwest Virginia foe Emory & Henry and Gaffney, S.C. squad Limestone.

- This will be the Cavalier's second meeting with the Eagles this year. On Dec. 10, 2022, Carson-Newman snuck away in the last three minutes of the contest to solidify a 81-77 win in Jefferson City. Ben Bryson threw in 10 of his own, including three three-point buckets.

-As of Jan. 21, the Cavaliers sit in second as a team in points per game with 85.7 while Carson-Newman averages 79.1, worthy of sixth place in the conference.

- Conversely, Carson-Newman sits in second place in rebounds per game in the conference with 39.3 while the Cavs average 36.7.
