WISE - - UVA Wise hosted its annual Sexual Assault Awareness Day Wednesday with a doubleheader baseball contest against King University. The visiting Tornado swept the doubleheader by scores of 7-3 and 7-1.

GAME ONE
SCORELESS THROUGH THREE
The game was scoreless through the opening three innings of play as UVA Wise hurlers Jacob Stuart, Jimmy Vanosdale and Brock Duff matched zeros with King starter Michael Cordova.
KING TAKES LEAD
An RBI groundout by Truman Roper gave the visitors the lead in the top of the fourth inning.
CAVS SURGE IN FRONT
A three-run fifth inning put UVA Wise in front. Tyler Campbell belted a two-run homer in the frame  while Shyheim Pannell scored on an error.
TORNADO SCORES LATE TO WIN
Davis Hall tied the game with a two-run single in the sixth before Jarrett Backus gave his club the lead with a two-run single later in the frame.
INSURANCE
A pinch-hit RBI single from Deric Graham and a run-scoring hit from Robbie Scott provided the final margin of 7-3.
BOX SCORE NOTES
Campbell's homer was his 14th of the year, one shy of the single-season school record.
GAME TWO
KING JUMPS OUT EARLY
The Tornado scored five runs over the first two innings thanks in large part to four Cavalier errors. It would be lead that would be insurmountable.
HARNESS HOMERS
UVA Wise's lone run came on a solo homer off the bat of Cole Harness in the sixth inning.
BOX SCORE NOTES
The Cavs were held to three hits and committed five errors in the game two loss. Wes Bonney went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead the King offense in the win.

UVA Wise returns to SAC play this weekend with a three-game set at Lenoir-Rhyne. Game one is scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m.
