UVA Wise enters the weekend series with a chance to quadruple  its win total from last season. In 2021, the Cavaliers posted five victories and with a series win over the Royals the team could finish with 20 wins in 2022.
Freshman DJ Dickson is one of the nation's hottest hitters. The outfielder is on a seven-game hitting streak and is slashing .422/.505/.611 for the year.
Senior Tyler Campbell continues to lead the league with his single-season program record 16 homers.
Bret Roberts is 10-for-19 during the current home stand. The stretch has raised his batting average to .394.
Freshman Justin Snider has allowed just one run over his last nine innings of work. Over the span, Snider has allowed just five hits while fanning five batters.


About Queens               
Queens enters the weekend with its most wins (26)in program history since starting the program in 2019.
Outfielder Nick Brassington is one of the nation's top hitters. The redshirt senior is slashing .376/.431/.688 this spring and leads the league with 130 total bases while ranking fourth in NCAA Division II.
As a team, the Royals have hit 61 homers, the 19th most in NCAA Division II.

UVA Wise hurler Garrett Stiltner is the reigning SAC and Southeast Region Pitcher of the Week after firing 11 innings of scoreless ball last week.
Wingate (1), Newberry (16) and Lenoir-Rhyne (20) are all ranked in the latest NCBWA Poll.
Three SAC teams (Wingate, Newberry, and Lenoir-Rhyne) have eclipsed 30 wins with five other programs having already garnered 20 wins.
Wingate needs just one win this weekend to lock up the regular-season title. Meanwhile, Queens sits 1/2 game back of LMU for the final bye in the league tournament.
