Storyline – vs. LINCOLN MEMORIAL

The Railsplitters currently sit in the no. 1 spot in the South Atlantic Conference with only three losses on the season. Their most recent loss came from a shocking late run from the Catawba Indians on January 22, as they took down LMU by a four-point margin. Since their defeat, the Railsplitters have secured five wins in a row, including a monstrous 100-54 win against Mars Hill on February 7, and look to snag their sixth against UVA Wise. Statistically, the Railsplitters are shooting 51-percent from the field and 39-percent from three-point range.

Jordan Guest:  averages 15.7 ppg, scored a season-high 28 points against Coker on November 27, 2021

Chase Rankin: averages 6 rebounds per game, SAC Player of the Week during the week of 1/31, snagged 12 rebounds against non-SAC opponent Erskine on December 1, 2021.

ABOUT UVA WISE

Yet again, the UVA Wise Cavaliers have defied the odds and snagged another conference win against Coker on Feb. 7, sneaking away with the win by a point. The win marked the longest win streak for the Cavaliers since 2018, and the three-game streak marked the longest win streak for the program since joining the South Atlantic Conference. Their win featured a 55.1-percent performance from the field from the Cavaliers, along with hitting a 47-percent from the arc and four Cavaliers scoring in double digits.
