ABOUT UVA WISE
The Cavaliers were not able to cut their losing streak in their second meeting of the season against Tusculum on Wednesday, falling by a score of 89-62. In the mid-week matchup, the Cavaliers saw freshman Kervens Yacinthe fill in a starting role for only the second time in his career — and drop a game and season-high 20 points. The forward hit eight shots from the field and accounted for over half of UVA Wise's points in the first half. Tusculum's trio of Joshua Scott, Justin Mitchell, and Trenton Gibson in double-digits was enough to snag a Pioneer win that accelerated in the second half with the help of Tusculum's bench.
