AUGUSTA, Ga. - - Augusta completed a three-game sweep of UVA Wise with a 16-2 NCAA Division II baseball victory Sunday. The Jaguars tallied 18 hits in the contest, including four extra-base hits in the series finale.
JAGS START FAST
Augusta scored six times in the first inning to take command of the game. Kyle LaRoche hit a two-run homer as part of the big frame for the Jaguars; it was one of two homers hit by the hosts on the day. An inning later, Augusta scored five more times to put the game out of reach.
UVA WISE LEADERS
Cole Harness hit a solo homer while Bret Roberts had an RBI to produce the Cavaliers two runs. On the day, Harness picked up three of UVA Wise's seven hits.
