Dominic Hoffman paired up at No. 1 for UVA Wise (1-13, 0-11 SAC) as the two were defeated 6-1 by Mars Hill's (3-10, 2-9 SAC) Rodrigo Ramos and Marcos Martinez. Senior

Luke Jarnagin were swept at No. 2 doubles while sophomore
Connor Giza and Kilgore fell 6-3 at the No. 3 spot.
Ferner was outlasted in a battle at No. 1 singles as he was edged 6-4, 6-2 by the Lions Ramos. Hoffman fell to Martinez 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 while Burke and Jarnagin were each swept at the No. 3 and No. 4 spot, respectively. Giza was defeated 6-4, 6-0 at No. 5 by Mars Hill's Tom Farman as Kilgore earned the Cavs sole win at the No. 6 spot.
Head coach Roger Whited's squad will return to action Sunday for the Cavs final regular season match as UVA Wise hosts Anderson University. First serve is set for 3 p.m. at the Jim and Betty Humphreys Tennis Complex.
