Cobras Sweep Cavs

WISE - - Coker posted a doubleheader baseball sweep of UVA Wise at Stallard Field Saturday afternoon. The Cobras claimed an 18-1 win in the opener before winning the series finale 11-5.

On the day, Coker (13-16, 12-11 SAC) belted 10 homers, five of which came from left fielder Reilly Hall who hit three in the night cap.

UVA Wise (4-20, 3-19 SAC) senior Gabe Wurtz had four hits on the day, including a homer as part of a three RBI day.

With the sweep, he Cobras won the series 3-to-1 by virtue of splitting a doubleheader on Friday.

Hank Banner's club will return to action Tuesday against King when the Tornado visit Stallard for a single nine inning non-conference tilt. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
